For quite a while I had been thinking about getting a team of punters organised to do the form on chosen races. I would get each punter to analyse one or two horses thoroughly on certain form factors, and then I would summarise the race and summarise them in a user-friendly way. But then along came Artificial Intelligence!
I soon discovered that artificial intelligence ( AI) is only as good as the information that it has access to. With plenty of information available, combined with the Formpro Ratings, speed maps, form guides, sectionals, stewards reports, then adding my own input, I feel we have a pretty good preview of some races now, and it wouldn’t take a week for team to analyse the form!
Artificial intelligence can do a great job in a matter of seconds. Of course I still have my input and what it does, I’ve found, is take out any strong biases that I may have. It will be a developing project. I was sceptical at first, but I’m thoroughly enjoying Artificial Intelligence and it is the way of the future for punters.
