8.Pre Nup debuted at Ellerslie recently and wasn’t rushed early, settled back and they didn’t go hard. Once in the straight she wound up and found the line hard in the third best closing sectionals. Past the post she was still going strongly and was in front 100 metres past the post. Before that she won two trials jumping well then easing back and finishing hard winning strongly. She’s drawn well here and can jump well and land in a good position midfield or closer and looks too strong for these. George Rooke rides and should give her every chance. RP $2.20, $2.70 FF

Confidence:3/5 2nd and had her chance
10.Savvy Dancer has had two runs back now in harder races and third up now looks very hard to beat with the blinkers going on at the right time. She won here in January sitting 3w in the open with Masa on and in a very good speed rating on a Slow 7 track, similar to this. She has drawn out here which will be a plus by this time of day and she looks very well placed to settle back wide with cover, creep into it and over power them in the last 100m. RP $2.40, $3 FF
