Australia

Bet of the Day Race 9 7.Althoff $2.05 1st $2 and easy win

Value bet of the day Race 1 13. Channelling $15 Has her chance

Multi Of The day Mr Miller ,Blue Door , Althoff all to win. $10 returns $87.90 Blue Door was taken on and set it up for Guest House

Rosehill

Race 1

Confidence:2/5

13 Channeling beat Doradus when she was third and he was 4trh and she meets him 2.5kgs better off in the weight. She stuck on nicely here for fourth last start over a shorter distance and steps to 1800 which she will relish, and she is peaking 4th up. Rachel King stays with her and from the inside barrier with plenty of pace in this she can sneak into it at very good odds, RP $6, $15 FF

Race 5

Confidence:3/5 1st $1.90

2.Mr Miller bolted in fresh up when expected to win.  Chris Waller said he has done very well since his soft win and he wants to get his ratings points up as he wants him in the top traces, so that speaks volumes of his ability and. he should get every chance from the draw and looks very hard to beat. RP $1.60, $1.80 FF

Race 8

Confidence:3/5

6.Blue Door was run down late in a very good speed rating over 1100m fresh up off a soft trial. She should lead, dictate, kick and win. RP $1.70, $2.20 FF

Danger:

8.Wild Atlantic is a real danger if she gets the right run. She has looked like a really good filly in her trials.

Race 9

Confidence:4/5 1st  and well ridden

7.Althoff could not have won any easier last start and he still ran a v ery good time second up over 1400m of 1.22.55. He steps to 1500m third up and peaking from the Waller stable and Zac Lloyd on. There looks to be at least an even speed in the race so I can’t find any negatives apart from the fact he will have to settle back. But That has just put some more value into his price. RP $1.30, $2.05 FF

Whanganui

Race 1

Confidence:1/5

5.Asher ran on well on the heavy track trial at Foxton for a close closing fast second to Bakushi, who won next up. Has a nice action for a heavy track. RP $5, $5.50 FF

Race 2

Confidence:3/5 Bonus Back race

1.Justashotway on debut ran a great race for second. He set a strong pace and was worn down late for second. The speed rating was on a par with the R65s and he strikes a weak field. Should lead all the way. RP $1.80, $2.20 FF

Race 3

Confidence:1/5

4.Carlow won very well here coming from behind on a heavy track. Ran on in excellent sectionals last start over 1200m and the extra distance will suit. RP $6, $9.50  FF

Race 4

Confidence:3/5 Bonus Back race

7.Reconvene has come flying down the outside to win her last two starts. Up in class here but her sectionals in context say she can step up to R75 grade successfully and she will be in the right place with 600m to go. RP $3.50, $6.50 FF now into $5 FF

Race 5

Confidence:2/5

7.Platinum La Danse ran a game second fresh up when caught in the slower inner ground and the winner, Shamelia Kirk, was out in the better ground. Then last start she handled the heavy ground easily when beating a weaker field at Woodville. her dam Platinum Command was a great mudder and her action is ideal for a slow in the bog. She gets back and should be able have her chance to get to the outside and she will handle the track better than most. Trainer Lisa Latta said, “She’ll handle a wet track…she deserves to take her place and she has trained on super.” RP $6, $14 and $3.60 FF now $18

Dangers:

1.Mignight Dart the stablemate of Platinum La Danse, handles a wet track as well and with Lisa Allpress on, will find the right way home!

Race 6

Confidence:1/5

3.Turn the Ace ran a game second two starts back to Prioress and meets her better off by 4.5kgs at the weights this time. He shared a good pace in the stronger Winter Cup and battled on 200m out. he is a not a true 1600m horse and 1400m where he can share the lead off the fence suits him ideally. RP $6, $10 FF

Dangers:

10.Belzoni has run two very good seconds and is right in this.

2.Honey Badger is in top form but drawn 2 so is vulnerable.

Race 7

Confidence:1/5

Any one of these could win. In order: 2, 6, 4 and 1

Race 8

Confidence:1/5

10, 4 3,1

Riccarton

Race 2

Confidence:3/5

1.Bellish Boy ran some very good races last start. In his recent trial he looked to have matured well and came from off the Pace looking full of running for third. He will likely drop back here but he has raced on the pace. Michael McNab will do the right thing and he looks very hard to beat. RP $1.60, $1.80 FF, $2 Odds Surge.

Race 8

Confidence:3/5 1st $3.50

14.What She Wants went a terrific race last start when she settled three wide with cover, and kept coming with a sustained run to finish second in very good sectionals. She has drawn wide which will very likely be the place to be. Third up she can go one better. RP $2.60, $4.20 FF, $4.80 Odds Surge
