3.Franco Silah went a terrific race last week when working early, then got shuffled back, improved 3 and 4 wide in the open with 600m to run, then kept closing for a close second to Wat Next, who got all favours. Drawn well and with a good trip likely, is a decent chance of downing the favourite, Wat Next at good odds. RP $3.50, $8.50 FF

Confidence:3/5 Back off a slow pace and was checked 700m out
13.Tere got back last, last start and was going well, then flew home for third in an excellent last 400m. He raced keenly at the back, was late clear, and then flew. The start before was here and he got back off a slow pace and finished right up there backsides full of running. He strikes an average maiden field and may move early if they go soft in front, or he may hang back if going hard and finish over them. RP $2.40, $3.20 FF
