He ran on very well from last fresh up here, and second up began well, settled 3 wide with cover, looked around a bit in the straight and finished well for second. He rated 96 then which makes him very hard to beat in an easier maiden. The Blinkers replace the Visor Blinkers and she looks hard to beat with Joe Doyle up. RP $2.20, $3.80 FF

12.Lumumba ran a top race two starts back when caught 3 wide in the open and kept coming for 4th in a stronger maiden. Then last start began well from the wide draw, worked to the lead, and was run down in the last three strides, and that was a stronger field than this. Drawn to get handy and may look for cover this time and come with a well timed finish. RP $3.60, $4 FF
