Whiskey’n Roses Race 7 Ruakaka 8 June
After settling well, just off the speed, he put in some excellent sectionals to win and did it in style. Looks better right handed is one to follow that way round.
No Plan Be Race 4 Ruakaka 8 June
She hit the line strongly late in very good sectionals. Out of a mare that was a course specialist and relished middle distances. Looks one to be on in the R75 race over a middle distance here in three weeks time.
Tide And Time Race 6 Ruakaka 8 June
She dropped back from her wide draw and they didn’t go that hard. But she came stylishly down the outer in the best sectionals. She will be hard to beat third up next start.
Princess Elly Race 6 Otaki 8 June
She got back and got the outside and ran home very nicely late for third. Her sectionals were very good especially as it was her first run over ground. Watch out next up on a Soft 7 or better.
Amend Race 5 Otaki 8 June
After setting a good pace early he stuck on gamely for second carrying 60kgs. Might sneak into the right handicap race with a light weight and go one better.
Timmy Race 1 Otaki 8 June
He settled into 4th inner place, but got shuffled back on the fence on the turn and ran home in the quickest last 200m. One to watch out for.
Susie Jane Race 4 Otaki 8 June
She sat outside a good pace and stuck on gamely in a good race time. Ready to win third up next start.
Lazio Race 3 New Plymouth 6 June
He trailed a good pace and won powerfully in a good speed rating. Another smart one from the Sharrock stable to follow.
Belles Beau Race 5 New Plymouth 6 June
He got back from the wide draw but came home strongly for third in the best last 200 metres. Looks like a nice galloper.
Andy Win Race 1 Matamata 5 June
He got back and then improved wide well out and still won. He ran the fastest last 200 metres of the race so looks a handy stayer for the winter.
