8.Deadly Pony got well back at Trentham but finished off really well once clear of traffic. Her last 200m was the best in the race. She steps to a middle distance which looks ideal. RP $5, $6.50 FF

11.Ciambella ran a top race at Trentham for third after leading and getting nailed late over 2200m. She steps back to 2050m here and if she can get the lead or get a nice sit on it, with the light weight, should be hard to beat. RP $5, $7.50 FF

1.Belle En Rouge is a very good mare. I’ve tried to find a way she can get beaten and the only way is through bad lack. They may get a soft lead but in the 13 horse field I can’t see it. So Opie just needs to find a good spot behind midfield and get going before the turn, and she should win against these. RP $1.80, $2.10 FF
